F-Gas Compliance for SMARTech energy engineers

Corsham based SMARTech energy Ltd are pleased to announce that they have received F-Gas compliance certification.

Reduce leakage of HFC type cooling refrigerants

A mandatory EU regulation, the F-Gas register was introduced to reduce the leakage of HFC type cooling refrigerants and sets the benchmark for training and certification of engineers involved in the handling of air cooling systems.

Good working practices

The certification means that SMARTech energy’s specialist heating and cooling engineers are fully trained to meet the requirements of the EU F-Gas regulation and confirms its commitment to good working practices.

Specialists in energy management and reduction, MD of SMARTech energy, Stuart Pearce says “Aside from conforming to compliance, this accreditation ensures that our customers are protected against equipment failures.  For example, a leaking air-cooling system is inefficient and can significantly reduce the energy efficiency of both the equipment and the incoming power supply. Correcting issues not only increases efficiency, but also delivers immediate cost savings on energy costs”.

Stuart adds “Our specialist engineers can identify solutions which help our customers to make informed decisions; creating an efficient and safe electrical system for their business or organisation”.
